Would imagine we should see the '05 G going up against the new 3 in the next month or two in a C&D comparo. Would guess we'll see the A4, G, TL, 3, and maybe CTS in the comparo. Will be nice to see some numbers on the '05's finally.

 

Looking forward to reading one - considering the G won the last round against the aforementioned (except the new 3 of course...)

 

I did my own comparo before I bought my G35X. A freind has an A4 3.0 Quattro that is riddled with silly problems, no thanks. IMO, BMW and MB build quality and overall quality of materials has fallen substantially. I think they are just tryong to keep up with the Japanese. About 7 years ago, BMW and MB owned the sedan market, both for sport and luxury sedans. Now, with Infiniti, Lexus, and Acura all making killer sedans, the Germans are feeling it. I can't wait to see what the new M does for mid size German sedan sales. Just looking at the car, the Germans should be worried.
