I own a 2004 infiniti g35x AT and i just got tjis car and went to fill up. Filled up about 5 gallons anx it started gushing from the fuel pump hole as if its not sealed properly. Should i attempt to reseal and try again? Or should i do something else? Im 99% sure fuel gauge reads innacurate but havnt taken the send unit out of the driver side to see if theres even fuel in it. How do these saddle tanks work when it ckmes to moving fuel from one side ti the other anyways? Any help eould be amazing!

 

The vent line gets clogged, doesn't let air out of the tank as you fill it. There is a TSB for it, came out several years ago. At the time Infiniti would fix it if you had less than 150,000 miles. Fuel gauge issues are common with these cars, a search will pull up a ton of information.
