Check out what infiniti did to my car for free

If it wasn't bad enough I got a 3rd ticket today (luckily the cop didn't write down the speed, just a fix it ticket for my tinted windows) when I went to pick up my car from the dealership, they added a little extra something.

They said they are going to fix it obviously, but still sucks that it happen. I am going to have them call me ASAP when the body shop starts working on it because I want to take a look at my front fender to make sure that no paint is chipping off and the bumper behind the cover is not damaged.

*edit*
The service guy told me one of the mechanics backed up another customers coupe into my car. So they f'ed up two cars in one day, not bad

wow your lucky, all I get a bottle of water. That truly sucks. when I had my Eclipse, the dealer wrecked it on the lot. although they fixed it for free, the paint never mateched on one side. Make sure they do a good job.

shodog: Well, they are ordering a new bumper for it. I think I am going to have them put on a new head light as well since their is a slight scratch on the bottom of it. It's not noticeable, but it also wasn't there this morning when I dropped my car off.

Shooter: Yeah, I will talk to the service guy tomorrow, I was just in disbelief when I picked up the car, anyone else experience this and get some compensation for it besides a lousy loaner?

Tough luck bro. They should do something for you for the agro. Ask for something like free oil changes.

3rd ticket? Dude, you need to chill. That gets expensive.

Sorry about the damage - I'd lose my mind. At least it looks cosmetic and not structural. The paint match shouldn't be too bad because the bumpers always look a little off in sunlight anyway.

Yes, compensation for aggravation would be in order. Pick out a few things and go see the service manager - you should be able to work something out.

Hopefully they'll make it worth your while. I'm sure it wasn't intentional - they do call them accidents for a reason. They should make it right and if they don't, take it upline.

That sux man...Yeah something a little extra is due your way. That clearbra idea was a good one. See if they'll spring for it. Love the rims...I wish mine came with those.

Yeah that sucks. Like the others said, make sure it looks absolutely pefect. I would also expect some other perks like oil changes. They should go out of their way to fix your car and keep you as a customer. If they don't, I would give them an earfull.

It sucks, but I wouldn't sweat it too much. At least they owned up to it and are taking of you. Once you get it back from the body shop, you'll never know it happened in the first place. This is a GREAT time to have the body shop address any other door dings/paint chips your car has suffered on your dealerships dime. Tell them if they take care of those, you'll be a happy camper.

Thats the thing I did chill. My last car had 175hp, so even trying to drive slow in this damn car is near impossible. I was in 6th gear and tapped the gas hit 85, passed a large utility truck and was cruising at 75. I then noticed a cop pull up next to me, cruised at 75 for about a minute, then he slowed got behind me and pulled me over.

Yeah its expensive and ate up my mod money.

Thanks for the input guys, I will definatley talk to the guy, he felt terrible that it happened, so maybe I can use it against him for some freebies due to the hassle.

I asked for a loaner FX35, but the CEL had just come on, so they couldn't give it to me.

Lightbulb

A car is never the same when it get's into an "accident" of any kind. Unfortunate, but true.
