S'up everyone

I took home my black 04 G35X this morning. Just wanted to introduce my self. I'd show you pics but I live in New Hampshire and it get's dark around here pretty early.

Quick question (and yes I searched) I'd like to get some new wheels. Looking for a Black 5 spoke design in 19's with a polished lip. (suggestions are welcome)

First question is do I really need to stagger them? or is that just for looks? Second question is can I fit a 40 series tire without rubbing? The thought of 35's with the pot holes around here scares me.

Welcome!

E-X-cellent choice of vehicles, if I may say so.

Check out a thread in the wheels section where the poster is trying to decide between a 5- and 7-spoke design. Nice rims, IMHO.

I am under the impression that you CANNOT stagger your rims on a G35X, due to the AWD system.

Welcome again, and enjoy your ride.

Welcom Machine Head. You do not have to stagger your wheels. May I suggest 19x8.5 on all four corners with a +38mm offset. 245/40/19 tires are perfect. My sedan is lowered with this set-up and I have no rubbing whatsoever.

Perfect!, I see Cru and I have similar tasts. Thanks for the heads up! Not staggering can save me some cash in the tires department. I'm in search of a nice 5 spoke & hoping I can find a set with tires for under $1700.

Skeleton what did your setup run ya?
