Hi one and all, I took an 03 sedan for a test drive and now i am hooked, DAMN that car is quick. I currently drive a slightly modified 03 Mazda Protege es, which drives and handles well but has no *****. My g35 question is it possoble to put an aftermarket deck in the dash, i've done some searches and i get yes and no answers. I currently use my ipod with my eclipse hu, would like to do the same in the Infiniti, is this possible? anyone have pictures? Right now this the only thing thats stopping me from buying

There is also a forum for Audio, etc. I hope that is not the only sticking point-there must be some other things to consider.

 

The short answer is "yes it is possible". You will need a double DIN kit and an A/C controller.

As i have done more searches i realize the only way to go aftermarket with the HU is to go JDM DD. Why do you need a new ac contols?

What size are the speakers in a sedan and where?

Does anyone have pictures of their installs?

The 4080 box looks like a great option to a box against the trunk wall. Will a set of golf clubs fit still with 4080 or do you have to put them at an angle?

If i purchase this vehicle my plans for the stereo are to carry over what i have in my protege. Raamat the trunk, doors and floor. Ensolite the floors and doors. As for speakers i have Eclipse 6.5 seperates in front, JL 6x9 for fill and a JL 10w3 in a power wedge box for sub. JL 300/4 and JL 250/1 amps, sounds great! Oh i forgot an Eclipse hu

 

When you remove the stock HU the A/C control buttons come with it.
