I want to add the stock navi system to my car. has anyone done this? if so how hard is it? any ideas on where to get all the necessary parts? thanx for any help and ideas

 

Everything I've heard/read suggests that it's a major pain the backside. I'm in the same boat as you, but instead of going through that Hell, I'm simply going to purchase either a RoadMate700 or a Garmin 2620. They lack the "wow" factor that a factory NAV gives you, but they perform every bit as well, PLUS you can take them with you on vacations and/or use them in your other vehicles. Best of all, these units cost anywhere from $600-$900.

 

Try the Navman ICN series. They are awesome ....
