Straightening bent rims

Straightening bent rims
Hi Folks:
Dealer tells a friend of mine that he has two bent rims but will only replace ($$$) not straighten since they don't do that type of work.
Can anyone on this forum recommend a shop where wheels can be trued out here on Long Island - preferably Suffolk County?
Thanks for any guidance!

Becasue the rim is bent it has to be re-worked to make it striaight. I believe that process makes the wheel weaker. OEM G35 wheels are forged (ref. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/construc.jsp).
The only lead I have is fixrim.com - I would assume that they would give some guidance on whether straightening is feasible...I hope. Makes sense that straightening something already bent would weaken it. There has to be some level of tolerance before things go really sour....
Thanks again!

Although not in Long Island, these folks are (relatively) close.

They get really good buzz from the BMWCCA folks here in Boston.
