Are the rims covered by the original warranty? I have the 18" coupe rims on my sedan and they are starting to form rust spots I have 26K on my car so I would think it should be covered by the warranty, Only problem I will see is they may give me some problems with them being coupe rims on a sedan. What do you guys think? Anyone with experience with this?

 

Call me a fool, but I purchased a seperate warantee on the tires and rims. It also included invisible indentification on all the major body panels. If I mess up a tire or rim on a pot hole or curb, it will be replaced. Have you priced a new 18" wheel? If the car is stolen, it will pay for the deductable. It was $650 and worth it.
