UT G2 Lip spoiler

Well, I got the car all cleaned up. The lip spoiler is on and so is 4 coats of Zaino Z2. Let me know what you think.

Looks Really sweet Rich. Nice work on the car .
How does the spoiler seem for being adhered tho the trunk with the 3M? I know my wife would be using the spoiler when she opens and closes the trunk , Do you think the 3M will stand up to it?
Thanks,
Wayne

The 3M tape holds REALLY well. I prepped both the spoiler and the trunk lid with alcohol to remove any wax. Once the tape hit the paint, it was stuck. Just be sure you have it positioned right. I can't see the tape letting go. I think it adds a great touch to the car. Very pleased with the quality of the spoiler too. THere was no pitting in the urethane and the surface took paint very well. My thanks to UT for making these availabe.

Yep, it's the G2 (medium) spoiler. It cost me 75 bucks to get it painted and it does look awesome. Pictures don't do it justice.

Nice spoiler.. I was thinking of getting one for my coupe. I'm trying to compare the Unlimited T..(medium) one to the spoilerdepot one and cant make a decision.

I got the spoiler directly from Unlimited Tuning. They had an introductory sale going on for a while. Pictures don't do it justice, it looks better up close in person.

I also have the G2 lip spoiler by UT. I thought the tape provided with the spoiler was very thin so I went searching for tape that was intended for this type of application and found one made by 3M that is .060 inches thick. This tape appears to be twice the thickness of the tape (also by 3M) provided with the spoiler. Do you think .060 inches is too thick? I obviously don't want the spoiler coming off but I also don't want the tape to be visible. Any thoughts? Maybe I should fine a tape that is in between the two sizes.

I've got to decide soon because I want to install it at the "DIY day" planned for this Saturday.

Jon, sounds good to me man! I've been a little busy, but I can still find time to hang with the Gs. Maybe we should trade cell #s and hook up.

Skeleton_cru, pictures just don't do it justice. It looks alot better in person.

As far as the tape goes, I used the tape provided by UT. If prepped properly, that stuff holds awesome. Just make sure you have it positioned right before you set it on the trunk.
