Magnaflow High flow cats question!

Hello once again everyone. I have searched and searched for a thread on these. So please don't flame on me if you know there is one. But I was wondering if anybody had some magnaflow high flow cats on theyre G35 sedan 5at. Do you guys think it would change the sound much? Do you think I should even buy them? Let me know everybody. Oh and btw, the gentlemen says they are for a 6mt coupe. Will that fit my 5at sedan?

I have Magnaflow cats, originally built into a Y-pipe by Acosta Racing, I converted them into high flow cat pipes as part of my custom TD system. Since Magnaflow just sell's the cat bodies, who are you getting to make them into a installable system?

I know Labree makes a high flow cat setup for these car's using Magnaflow cats. http://www.labreemotorsports.com/main/indexflash.html

The main issue with using them is that they will reduce your ground clearance as they will become the lowest part under the car do to where they are located and their thickness, the Crawford's and Kinetix cat's should not have that issue. Since mine never ran with the oem exhaust I cannot comment on sound.

On the car

Since Magnaflow only sell's the cat's and not a compleate setup, whatever is being offered for sale will only be as good as whomever did the fabrication. I actually had to have one side of mine raised up in a desperate search for more ground clearance. Since they are in a area that never was setup to resist their heat, the shop and I left a 1/2" gap from the underbody. Only thing I can suggest is to insist that the seller provide pics of the setup mounted on the car and go from their.

Here's what I have. The first pics do not reflect how I redid the way the mufflers are mounted since I felt that the original setup let them hang way too low and too far out. All bends are mandrel.

Here's a pic of the car from the rear where I redid the mufflers.
