Looking at a 03' G35 Sedan 6MT with the sport package. I was wondering if there are any known problems with this year I should be aware of. Like tranny problems or anything major. I drove it today and was very impressed. Any information good or bad would be appreciated.

 

There are a bunch of TSBs out for this model year. Just make sure you have them all done and the car will be great.

 

There is no such thing as an '03 6MT. The 2003 sedans were only offered in 5AT.

 

Doggy door = 2003

No doggy door (like the rest of the years) = 2003.5

When i bought my G, the sticker did not say 2003.5 - it said 2003, but it didn't have the doggy door, so it must be a 2003.5

Also, dealers can't differentiate..even when I take it in for service Infiniti calls it a 2003.

The 6 speed tranny has had it's share of troubles.
