Cost of premium $2.49/gallon

I just filled up at Sunoco for $2.41 a gallon for their 93 octane. Their 94 octane was $2.53. No idea why they charge so much for one octane point. It's probrably the same stuff. Most of the places around here (Wayne, PA) are just about the same price. The G isn't bad for fillups, it's when I have to fill the Armada up that is the killer.

This morning it was $2.61 (87 octane), $2.76 (89 octane), & $2.86 (91 octane) at a shell station in Encinitas, CA (San Diego). 91 octane is the highest octane that we can buy...But I do get a 5% rebate on my shell credit card for buying gas at shell...
Just think, the higher the gas prices, the more money I get back!!!!!

Hybrid? You'll be paying more overall, and where do you think those big batteries go after your car goes to the junkyard in the sky?
Anyways...
Prices here in southern CT are $2.4x/gal for 93 Octane (Mobil).

Here in south FL, 93 oct was $2.37/gal at Costco (Friday 4/22). Full tank baby.
Other regular gas stations had around $2.29 for regular.
At this rate, I will make up the $45/yr membership fee, or maybe even save more just with the gas alone....let alone other stuff I purchase.
Here is the math..
If I drive 12000 miles/year (which I do)
say around 600 gal
at 10c/gal saved = $60 saved.

Seattle Area- Premium is in the $2.85- $2.95 range. Plus we get a gas tax raise of .15 per gallon over the next 4 yrs thanks to the Democrats. Starting next month we get an instant .03 per gallon part of the tax. Freaking tree huggers!
Diesel cost's more than Premium out here for some unknown reason all of a sudden. (Price fixing due to the amount of people buying diesel cars, hum?)
Funny how all the gas being used now was purchased a long time ago at a much lower price, but the cost goes up immediately when crude goes up. More BS!
I feel better now, had to vent.
