I was driving the family home from NY today in my minivan. A sweet black G35X with tinted windows and a nice ground effects package pulled in front of me in the left lane of the NJ Turnpike south around exit 8. I followed this Jersey G for about an hour until I pulled into a rest stop around exit 2. It would have been a lot more fun if I was driving my G. What I liked most about the experience was comparing the looks of the G to all the other cars on the road. The G outclassed most if not all other cars I saw today. Whenever another car pulled in front of me, blocking my view of the G, I got a little pissed, but they usually passed again on the right leaving me with an unobstructed view. The worst offenders all seemed to be driving Toyota Camrys. My Jersey G friend had no idea that the dude driving the green minivan was a fellow G35 enthusiast. Driving back and forth from DC to NY this weekend, I only saw 4 or 5 G35s period. This black GX was really clean. Kudos to the Jersey G who was on the NJTP between 1:30 and 3:00 today.
