Re: Rear lip spoiler
Yeah...don't pay anymore than $125US for a replica spoiler. I don't think I would want OEM either since it's just a small peice of add-on. I asked some guy on the street with a 3-Series E46 sedan and he told me he paid $275CAD painted and installed from the dealership. YIKES!!

Re: Rear lip spoiler
So I finally got off my butt to go to the local shop to get my replica M3 lip spoiler. It was there 2 weeks ago and I picked it up just today. My hook-up let me pay for the spoiler so that I could ask my bodyshop if they can spray it and put it on for me, or else if no, they would refund my money and I would be able to return the spoiler.
I tried a test fit with my friends, but if feels as though I would have to bend the spoiler quite a bit to fit well. I'm scared that if I get the spoiler painted and bend it, the paint would crack. I'm gonna have to check with my body shop first before I keep it.
Also, would I have to apply any other adhesive or glue along with the 3M double sided tape it comes with? Doesn't seem like the spoiler would hold very long with just that 3M stuff. Then again I don't wanna ruin the trunk lid by putting glue on it either. Any suggestions?
