High end cleaning supplies

I was online looking at some items from Detailing Dynamics. I would like to purchase a REAL sheepskin was mitt, microfiber drying towel and a good car wash. Can I find these items at a Advance auto parts/Track Auto or are they only available online? I have a Black G (my first black car) and want to start out cleaning it the right way.

Good luck with the black brudda. I've had a couple of black cars and no matter how I try I always ended up with light swirls over time.

Fortunately the swirl removers they have nowadays are light-years ahead of what they used to be..

I ordered a bunch of microfibers online and I use a sheepskin wash mitt on my current ride. They work great. I'm using Meguiar's Gold Class car wash and it's good stuff - nice and thick clingy suds - very nice. I think I'm going to try the NXT wash next - just to see how it goes.

Also - found some great microfibers at Sam's Club. Folks will say they aren't as good as what you get online but I've used them through 4 coats of MOTHER's Pure Carnuba and I have zero damage and zero complaints.

Oh - and you'll probably find tons more information in the detailing forum - we should probably move this there.

I ordered a complete kit from detailing dynamics including the cyclo polisher and their response and service is great! My first email was never received to Mike Lee who runs the retail side but the second email went through. You may want to call instead. GREAT products!!! Their MF towels are amazing!!!! The best I ever used!!!! Not to mention their prices are very reasonable. I also have tried their soap and IMHO, truly the best soap! Never used anything so slick in all my life! They are great guys and have great products!

go to detailcity.com/

they have a couple of great vendors who carry the top of the line stuff. Their message board is also full of helpful pros.

I'd say buying microfibers/washmitts/polishes/sealents are a must online, or if you have a local distributor. The difference in quality is very evident! For example the costco microfibers are terrible for paint.
