if you want to look like the other 100,000 sedans on the street, go ahead. someone said earlier in this post after someone else posted a pic of their almost stock setup and said "that's the way a g sedan should look like". the problem is, that's the way they all look
Instead of looking like the 100,000 sedans, it looks like the 1,000,000 cheezy riced out cars out there!

C'mon guys...we shouldn't flame RevolutionG35 on his ride...a few honest opinions are alright, but this is just a little too harsh.

Remember, its HIS car...why are we trying to make it look like what WE would've done? Like he said, he wanted it to be different...so let him go. The point is that he loves driving it as much as we love ours..."Enjoy the Ride" is/was Nissan's motto!!!

See ya on the streets of the I.E. RevolutionG35...holler if you see me! By the way, I think I've seen your car at our service department...you go to Montclair, right? ^-^

Yeah, but what are they saying about it "for the next 2 days"?
yes i am one of 'those' guys. everytime i saw a bright yellow mustang back in the early-mid-90's, i thought, 'who the hell would buy a color like that?" people who want me to look. well, i looked. it worked.

and you're probably correct about the 'what are they actually saying' comment. probably a bunch of putdowns, and insults of sorts. but in reference to my first comment, at the end of the day, they are talking about his car, not anyone else's g35 they saw that day. it's all about individuality and personal preference. i think he gets the point. he does seem to take criticism quite well, and i respect that.

Great post ... good to see everybody riled up. I stayed with the completely stock look, but that's just me. Luckily, the 05 with the 18s and updated body kit achieves most of what I'd do anyway. Modding your daily driver is tough ... I've found once you start, there's always something else you want to do next

I've got two thoughts after scrolling through all the responses:

1- Skeleton, your black on black ride is smokin hot
2- I suprisingly don't hate the neon. It's not for me, but good to see "the kids" experimenting with new looks - since that's the point.

Hey! Just my mundane opinion, dont take it seriously please....

paint the bumper
remove the sticker
remove the neons
lower your car
remove those chromes (not saying those chromes aren't good, but they dont match your car...)

You might be suprised how well your car will look once you have completed all the above mods....

here is my car, flame it if you think I have offened you

Flaming Revolution was not my intention. I was trying to make a point to jasper.

This is his second time 'round. The first time we (me included) were not so nice and it got kinda ugly. I'm glad it stayed a little more adult this time.

People have to realize that when you post pics of your car and ask "What do you think"?, there are going to be plenty of opinions and not all good ones.

I just saw this thread. Unfortunately, at a quick glance, I thought the modded G35 was an Altima. The chin spoiler, the windshield sticker, etc. Probably not the best look on a G sedan.

tis been quite some time, have you (author fo thread) changed it yet? If you have (and I hope that for the best...) please post pics. Really, you shouldnt have done what you did to it.

It sure does turn head, the same way a riced up civic turns my head to see who the a$$h0le who drives it is!

To all you OLD guys out there, no offense or anything, i know we all have our own styles but if the guy likes the way his G looks then it is what it is. With us young ppl today the windshield banner is "in". Yea it would look better color matched but i think it looks good cause its different.
