Question 19'' Wheels?

Hey everyone! I have a 2004 fully loaded sports tuned suspension sedan with the factory 17" five spoke rims. I'm seriously thinking about putting 19x8 inch rims on the car, but I'm afraid it will make the car ride to stiff. How many people out there have put 19" wheels on and do you regret it? Do you feel every bump on the road or is it just a little rougher then factor?

The tires I'm thinking of going with are the Hankook Ventus sport K104's
280/AA/A Does anyone have these tires and are you unhappy with them?

Thanks in advance for all your feedback,
Slaterock

K104's

I have these tires. I've been running them now for about a month. No complaints. They stick to the road like glue.

The ride is going to be a bit stiffer and rougher. That's just the way it goes when you add wheel width and add shorter and much thicker sidewalls. You're also adding over 1" in tire width which will definitely add more road noise.

I put 19 inch rims with 40 series tires...ride is worse since i can feel every single bump on the road

I have 19's and the ride is only a little stiffer then the sports tuned suspension. Definitely worth it though.

I got them on 40's and really didn't even notice a difference. The ride is not bad at all. I think it's better.

Smile Thank you all for your feedback!

Does anyone recommend putting 18’s instead of 19’s? Or will there really be no big difference from 18 to 19’s.

Again, thank you all for your feedback

Talking Okay, I did it!

Hey everyone thanks again for your feedback last week on “19” wheels?” Well I did it, I put the 19" wheels on this weekend, and so far I've only found it slightly stiffer then with the stock rims and tires. Remember, my car already had the factory sports suspension so it didn't ride all that smooth to begin with. The ride and handling with these wheels is awesome! Definitely recommend it. See Attached pics.

Damn...those are freakin huge. The rims sorta look like the 19" rims for the M.

If by specs you mean tire and wheel size, then here it is.

And the rims??? Brand, model, source?
They do look very nice. And similar to the new M 19's, yes a little. Love the red
