Unhappy Cracks in Tail lights on '05

Hi all,

Cleaned up my new "05 sedan this weekend and noticed that both reverse lights (located on the trunk lid) have multiple cracks in them. The cracks rise about 1/2 inch from the bottom of the lights.

Has anyone else encountered this prolem? Going to the dealer for my 3000 mile service next week and will see if Infiniti will replace the lights under warranty.

Thanks for your input.

That sucks. I'll go give mine a good visual and let you know. Seems odd.

Are they uniform from side to side? Can you get good pictures of what you're talking about?

Detailed inspection reveals no cracks at all. I didn't think there would be, but you never know..

Just a thought but could it have been a case of attempted theft??? Do you see any tool marks?

The '05 tail lights/reverse lights are a popular mod for earlier model G35's.

cracks

No other marks on the trunk lid, no paint chips or scratches. I'll post a photo as-soon-as I figure out how.

No cracks here either. Would be interested to see what's up though.
