rear armrest slams down

So, with 600 miles on the new g35x I decided to do a brake check

Clear road, 60mph, slam brakes and bam!! the rear armrest comes crashing down and scares the crap outta me

Excellent brakes...dumb armrest

I have the armrest slap too. Scared the crap out of me the first time as well. Now I just leave it down all the time.

I just reach back and throw it back up with a flick of the wrist. But the armest is not that annoying compared to all the squeeks and rattles my "nissan" is making.

I was recently running at Roadamerica, and I couldn't understand why I kept forgetting to put up the armrest.........I wasn't forgetting, I simply couldn't hear the armrest SMACK the seat with the helmet on.

Every time I go autocross, it invariable slaps down.

Unless I didn't bother to take the childseat out.. that has a tendency to keep the armrest in place.

You should auto-x with a child in the child seat in the back.

Passengers must be 12 yrs old with a waiver signed by both legal guardians. And they don't make helmets that small.
