3.5 Altima....what the hell was I thinking!

I priced a loaded V6 Altima w/ leather and sunroof and the difference was only around a grand compared to by base 05G w/ sunroof (leather standard). I'm so glad a friend bought a G, because I would never have considered it. I thought about a used A4, but the electrical gremlins had me nervous.

If there was no G, I probably wouldn't buy a new car on October 2002, and waited until Acura TSX came out and bought it.

330i. I actually put a deposit down on one, then changed my mind and got the G35 instead.

The TL is a peice of crap. Sure it looks nice and all and has good performance. It sucks for quality... rattles, tranny issues... etc. bad interior seating. You name it. I had two and as the performanc went up the reliability went down.

all you guys could afford a 540 6mt and you ended up with a G35? I am by no means a Bavarian fan - but that is an obvious downgrade - same for those who were in the market for an S4

I don't think so. Everyone raves about the 540's interior but I found the seats too hard and the design about as uninspiring as the G35. What I was after is the performance which I feel the g35 has at least 95% of that of a 540. I also fell that since the G35 is a bit smaller , it is a more nimble driver. But what I really like about the G is that it doesn't have the maintenance issues that the BMW has
