Trouble Taking Off Gearshift ****!

Have had my G 6mt for a week now. Love the car!

I thought I would get an aftermarket shift ****. I thought it would be on there tight but it feels
like it might be glued on or something.
Can't believe how tight.
I tried getting it hot with a hair dryer(as hot as you can gfet w/hairdryer)

Has anyone experienced this before? How did you looosen it up?

Thanks

Mark

Mine came off without any tools, but I have very strong hands from all that typing and using mouse You need to give it "sharp" twist to break glue/threadlock. Be careful not to rip boot.
If it won't work, wrap it in towel and use vice grip pliers-again, sharp twist.
