What are some of the problems every g35 has?

I recently bought a 2005 g35x and would like to know some of the common problems all of these cars share. I noticed the rotors should be a bit bigger, will they wear out quicker than most cars?

hummm... Paint chips are frequent. Brakes have a short life. Nothing that EVERY G has. You will find that the G is one of the most reliable cars on the market (see Consumer Reports and others)

+10 which equates to less than stellar gas mileage..

No problem too big, no problem too small, when I step on the gas, no problems at ALL.

Mine has a problem with the CD player which the dealer will replace this Friday. Left speakers don't work with the CD Player but work with everything else. Had squeaky rear brakes replaced by dealer under warranty 2 weeks ago. Other than that, everything else works great.

Are you serious? This has been a major complaint of mine. I havent mentioned it to the dealer yet, but I have a kind of film on the inside of my clear headlights. Looks foggy/film. Like the inside of your windshield or windows would be after time. How did you approach them to replace? THis has always bothered me. I gues the best plan is to go to the delaer and look at another 05 and have them turn the lights on and see if other cars have the film/fogginess.

Did they fight you on it? DRIVES ME NUTS looking at it....

Thanks
Mike

Interior squeaks and rattles are my only complaint. Otherwise a great car.

I think the brake wear problem has been addressed to some extent, if not completely, if the amount of dust equates to brake wear, as it always has from my experience, the '05 might get longer wear. Today, I had an '05 loaner, with over 5k, and the pads appear to still be as thick as mine with 1500 miles, so we'll see. But believe me, the excessive dust problem is gone! I agree it is a very reliable car. BTW, I still don't think the paint chip problem is an Infiniti problem, geez, when a rock hits any paint at 75 mph, it's not going to just bounce off, not armour plated, my neighbor has a couple of year old GS300, and it has just as many, if not more chips in the front bumper as my '04 G35 did.

My only complaint is the some squeaks, ghey gas milage, inability to stay under 55mph, 100 mph seems pretty good for the g35x, and havin to clean my chromies every few days from the brake dust.. other then that I love my beautiful car <3!!

And i think its bad to say that i already have 2,300 miles on my car n its almost 2 mnths old >_O!!! DAMN BF!
