had Tein S-techs, a little too low for me and required after market camber arm to bring camber back to specs........so i figured a half an inch drop would be ideal.....got coupe springs and the .5" drop was too subtle and the ride was very close to the oem sport set-up..........saw a great deal on the Z springs and viola!!, now have an one inch drop all around, perfect imo......the ride is firm, somewhere between the Tein S-techs and the coupe springs.....I'll try to post pics when i was car........
so, anyone wants Tein s-techs for 80 bucks or coupe springs for 50 bucks?!
tibits: had to roll rear fenders a little with Z springs because of the offset of coupe wheels.......

I'm interested in your coupe springs, got pics? ( I mean pics of how the car sat after you installed them?) I jusy bought 19's and even though it's a lease I think I could get away with installing an OEM spring for a slightly lower stance

Thinking about lowering my car soon but not sure which route to go. Would love to see pics of all three set ups if you have them.

KLG35...
I like your "the few, the proud, the 6MT sedans" ^-^
So, you're in Walnut, huh? I'm not too far away in Phillips Ranch. We should get together & go cruisin sometime. I have several friends that live in Walnut also & I love my midnight runs through streets like Amar & Lemon...wanna join me?
Anyways, if you ever go to Diamond Plaza or Yes Plaza or HK Plaza...basically all those spots along Colima & Fullerton/Nogales...and see a slammed, white 2005 sedan...most likely me, so honk or something! See ya around...

What kind of project is it to change the springs on the sedan? I am fair will auto mechanics, would I need a lift? Could it be done with jack stands? Do you need spring compressors?

I did my springs on jackstands without a problem. I actually purchased spring compressors but you don't need them. It is a rather simple process if you have any mechanical skills.Originally Posted by Texasscout

The 18" coupe wheels must visually make the gaps look bigger because my G with Coupe springs in the front only and stock Sport springs in the back looks nearly as low as his 350Z springs all around.

i used the wooden handle of a hammer( that sounds weird).......it's a little tricky getting the shaft between the tire and inner fender, but once that's inserted, you basically pry out/roll along the top curvature......i think socalted dremeled his from a post i was reading somewhere.....Originally Posted by Klubbheads

keep in mind the coupe wheel offset is 30....
