New G35 Desert Plati. Owner, I have acouple Questions...
Whats going on guys, Just wanted to officially introduce myself. last week I became the pround owner of an 03 5AT Desert Platinum G35 Sedan. Ive loved every minute in the car thus far and have no regrets towards my new purchase. I am currently doing some research on a possible turbo kit, I am probably gonna end up with the greddy kit but just wanted to make sure that it fits fine without any mods? I know that on the greddy site it says (6sp) any other 5AT guys install one yet on the sedan? Ive already searched and couldnt find any info. Thanks guys

Hey, where are you located? If you're in Southern California...then you might want to hook up w/ my friends Tony or Fred...they comprise ER - Evolution Racewerks.
They do alot of custom turbo jobs...and specialize in fabrication (manifolds, roll-cages, exhaust components). They have much, much experience w/ Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.
As for the GReddy kit...it is a total pain to install. My other buddy's got a 350Z & bought that kit. Tony had to do alot adjusting & refitting to get that thing installed. He used to push GReddy/Trust products alot...but after that experience, he kinda felt they weren't what they used to be. Also, the guy who owned the Z decided to take it out after only 2 months...wasn't satisfied w/ the performance it provided considering how much it cost.
All that said, if you don't mind spending...I'd recommend you have a reputable shop put together a custom set-up for you, using components from various manufacturers, rather than buying a ready-to-install kit (such as GReddy).
Just my 2-cents...
Good Luck to ya!!! Enjoy the Ride!!!

Hey Bamboo - welcome aboard.
Look up posts by GurgenPB and you will learn something about turbos for 5AT sedans, specifically the Power Enterprises setup.
you can find lots of info on the Modifications thread. Just spend some time looking through all the old posts.
Cheers, ted
