2005 G35 6MT Sedan

Bought an '05 6MT sedan last wednsday. This is my 3rd Infiniti/Nissan product in the last 3 years.... I ordered a Diamond Graphite/Graphite 6MT sedan but decided to take delivery sooner and found a black on black with Premium A, Navigation, Aero package (exactly the same as the one I ordered). Slapped on a set of 19" Coupe wheels and a billet grill I bought off of E-Bay, had the windows tinted, installed a K&N and Z-tube. I also bought a JWT pop charger, but will wait until winter to install it. Ordered Fujitsubo Legalis-R exhaust system, leather Nismo shift ****, TANABE Sustec NF210 springs, Unorthodox crank pulley, and belts. I plan on getting the 3.917 gears installed @ Performance Nissan if they have them in stocand maybe some headers and a Nismo flywheel. I have a set of gunmetal 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 Volk Progressive spoke wheels I plan on putting on after lowering. I may want to get a set of beefier sway bars. Who has what and how did you like them?

It is somewhat hard to believe that this car so closely emulates the 350Z. I had an '04 350Z base 6-speed that was light and quick but I think my 6MT sedan might be a hair quicker (stock to stock comparison). When I squint my eyes, I feel like I am back in the 350Z and I totally forget that I have 4 doors..lol.

I had Grubbs install the ATI Procharger on my Z.... Wondering if the Vortech SC could be made to fit and be more reliable on the G35 Sedan. I had deto issues on the Z, although a few gallons of TT105 made it possible to get 365hp @ the wheels with 7 psi.

Regards

James

Sounds like a great car. Those 19's will look nice, but they will slow you down a bit.

you guys don't forget to check your tire pressures. I bought my 05 back in december and got my first oil change in March. My friend commented on how his 05 sport wasn't as stiff...sure enough i had 42psi on all 4 corners. It was either delivered that way and never checked - or they over inflated at the 3500 mi service. I noticed many of my rattles have now disappeared..

What's up w/ you, dude? I've been on this forum for only a few weeks & so far yours is the first unfriendly post I've read from anybody...whether directed to me or other people.

As for my signature, I suppose it could be minimized...and I apologize if it bothers you. However, I'm assuming most of us on here are "car enthusiasts"...so, I figured it'd be nice know a little more about each other as we're making friends here, right? And knowing what other cars, etc...can tell alot about what you're into (show, race, sounds, etc.)

I don't know if you're on this thing to meet other people who share your interests...or just trying to be a f**kin a**.

If its the first one, I suggest you change the way you talk to people or noone will be cool w/ you. If its the 2nd, keep it up 'cause you're getting off to a great start buddy!

Chill out...enjoy the ride, man! ^-^

Here it comes again...look below...

ZX, wlecome aboard. I think that's the most mods I have ever seen is such a short period of time. Must be nice to have all that dough laying around. Hey can I borrow twenty bucks?

G35_coupe, I agree huge sigs are pretty annoying, but you could go about it with a little less hostility.

The Volk Progressive spokes are extremely lightweight. I agree the 19" tires will be a little heavier. However, I will be running 245/35-19s front, 275/30-19 rears. This with the lowering springs should really improve the handling.

My 350Z got all this in about 10 days after I purchased the car: <laughs>

Thanks!

I wish someone had some feedback on Vortech Supercharging my sedan.. I know the actual kit is Coupe specific, but I am getting that itch and it needs scratching..hehehe

How many people have done it...reliably?
