Just got my head unit (Audio) replaced

First thing I noticed is that there are now like 7 or 8 horizontal orange-red lighted stripes that go across the display when the unit is turned on. I never noticed these before. Maybe it's just me, or maybe they're just brighter on this replacement unit.

Second, the RDS displays noticably faster. It "flips" through the words faster.

Third, the issue where the treble setting does not stick (after you cycle the power when the setting is at level 5) still exists.

They're saying it's a firmware issue within the head unit - nothing that can be fixed unless it's addressed by the MFR.

Translation - get your 'quick-reset' technique down - this car will have this problem until the cows come home.
