Ditto what GEE35X said. I loves me the dark rides but have grown weary of the maintainance factor and felt silver and grey were a bit too common (sorry, but they do account for almost half of new car sales nowadays).
I liked it, my wife looooooved it, and I get a lot of compliments.
Here's a shot of a day at the track -

Just a bit of brake dust on those front rims!

I have a '04 TWB sedan, and absolutely love it. I especially like that I've only seen one other TWB sedan since I bought mine. As for keeping her clean, I clay/polish/seal her twice a year (spring/fall), wash her once a week, and dust her with a cali-duster almost every day. You know, now that I think about it, the hardest part of keeping my G clean, and every other G for that matter, is the damn brake dust... but that's a subject for another thread.

Jstwong, your ride looks awesome! Is that the standard Infiniti aero package (spoiler and rear underbody diffusers)? Your sig says Nismo aero kit, but those pics look stock except for the spoiler.

I just recently bought my second G, and I couldn't find an 05 6MT with the aero package close enough that I didn't have to wait a week to get it. Parked next to my 04, it looks more "plain" without the spoiler. Now I've just about decided to get one installed.

Just my $0.02.

Hyde, I love how your car looks. I see you have the Nismo front, but not the sides nor rear. Also, I really like the look of the coupe 18's on your sedan. Is your car dropped also, because it looks perfect.

damonb10, what I have is the standard full Nissan aero body kit, which is the rear spoiler, underbody diffusers and different front bumper [compared to what was stock in 2004]. This is also known as the Nismo aero kit.

I second that, they didn't have a lakeshore slate with a 6mt, only a DG with 6mt, so I got tranny preference over color preference.

Wow I never realized how nice that Lakeshore slate looks. I gotta say I love black on black but if I were to get a different color that would be the one. Very unique.

Well, for me, it's a total package concept. That is, it's nice when the interior and exterior complement each other. I went DG exterior and graphite interior because the black/silver looked so good together. But, the interior was solid black, so I opted to get the sport tuned suspension that, in 2004, added the "titanium" center console. This makes a nice contrast inside (black/silver) that also complements the exterior color..... Ouch! Too much thought there. By the way, I had difficulty finding that combination and was told there weren't too many like it and I still haven't seen but a couple like it. Good luck. Either way I think you'll be happy.

Here're some pictures of my Diamond Graphite / Graphite sedan.

I considered Lakeshore Slate, but decided that the color may not be so great in 4-5 years. The dark grey of the Diamond Graphite, I think, will age fairly well as "modern" design cues change.
