Who you calling old?
I started thinking about this when Celica boy called me and skeleton cru old. How old were the guys who won the Indy 500? Well it appears that 59 winners were over 30 and 31 were under 30. Of course, the statistics are tilted by Al and Bobby Unser winning again and again, who by the way, both won when they were 47.

Celica boy will be on the other side of the fence one day. It feels like I graduated college 5-10 years ago, but it's been 17 years....crazy. Time flies once you start working full time and summers off are a thing of the past. The company I work for had a team event at an indoor high speed go kart track and I had the best lap times out of the group...even beat a few 20 somethings!

My father is 59 and he never talks about his age, and he's one of the coolest people I know.

That's the analytical viewpoint. However, age is always relative. You're only as old as you think you are.

I had to speak up for some of us others here that are still young at 55, oops forgot I'm 56 now. I am having a ball at my age, I'm not as fast, and not as slim but I love life and I plan on enjoying it for many more years . I have been retired for 3 years and don't have enough time in a day.
As Meechin wisely said in one of his threads earlier today "you are only as old as you think".

I hear ya' GEE.
To hear some of these young pups talk, if “old” is mid 30s, then as I approach 57 I’m way past old and must be approaching dead But still having a blast driving my G … wrinkles and all

Right on! Good for you! I'm a bit behind you. I trust I will share your attitude and zest for life . . . Bravo!
