Is there any difference in an exhaust for a RWD G35 sedan vs. the AWD G35x sedans????

 

The routing is different but as to the components.......Anyone?

 

For the 04's there's no difference except routing like you said.

 

The routing is to compensate for the transfer case in the X.

 

So which parts are interchangeable? I'm going to need to replace the pipe between the cat and muffler and the muffler. I found someone locally selling a stock exhaust for an 04 RWD sedan. I have an 04 AWD sedan. Will it work? Any help would be appreciated.

 

The mid pipe and rear muffler should be fine. It's the Y pipe that is different.

 

AWD Y-pipe looks like an HR y-pipe...but it's not
