Auto Climate Control

Has anyone noticed that when in full automatic mode the recirc light comes on when it's hot outside to cool down the car quicker. Eventually once it cools down enough the fan speed decreases and then eventually the fresh air light comes indicating that air is coming from the outside. The problem is I don't think this is really happening on my G. On my previous accord with auto climate control there was a noticable difference when recirc to fresh air came on due to lower sound coming from the fan since it was sucking air coming from outside. My G doesn't do this, it still seems like it's in recirc mode. If I hit the fresh air button manually, then it seems to actually switch to fresh air mode even though the light is on for this button in auto mode. Is this the way it is suppose to work or is something quirky goin on here
Thanks,
Brian

Oh boy...here goes the climate control thread again.

I love most of the things about the G, but obviously climate control is not one of them. I know some people on this forum thinks it's fine but I for one thinks my 1992 accord has a better climate control. I mean it's plain and simple. I twist the ***** I want, fresh air/re-cir air and I turn on the ac when I want.

The G takes control most of the time. I just hate that when you press fresh air the AC turns on by itself. This is so annoying. Not counting the fact that fresh air is not really the same fresh air that it pulls from the outside. It's usually warmer.

Recirculate is the quickest way to remove humidity. Comfort levels are based a lot on humidity levels. Nissan apparently understands this pretty well.
