i have a 04 g35 AT. however, i drove an 05 with AT and realized that the tiptronic actually rev matches the downshifts, which is a great feature and sooooo cool. spoke to the mechanic at infiniti and obviosly its just a new program in the tranny. he said that if the tcu (transmission control module) were compatible from the 04's to the 05's, that my car could be updated with that feature. however, he wasnt sure if they were compatible. anybody know if this could be done and how to go about it. i love that feature. sorry if this is a repeated thread
