i was reading over in the endmunds forums that someone used Mothers on his M35. said he thinks it works better then Zaino b/c it actully treats your paint then coats it like Zaino. i am not very familair with either of the 2....currently i am just using zipwaz on my 1996 Maxima, but when i finally purchase my car--my next car, i want the best shine i can find.

i typically hear about Zaino and how good it works, but i am interested in this Mothers as well. anyone know anything about it?

I've been using the Mother's sealer glaze and Pure Carnuba (hard wax in the car - not the liquid) since I bought the G. I love it. I'm ordering some different carnuba based on a recommendation from one of the guys here, but I'm not going with Zaino.

I prefer carnuba waxes and don't like to be 'bound' to one set of products. Zaino stuff only likes to play with other Zaino stuff. If you find yourself away and not 'stocked' to detail your car it causes you to break your routine. I don't like that restriction.

Also, I detail my car so often that the longevity you supposedly get from Zaino isn't that important to me. The shine and longevity I've experienced with Mothers has been far and away the best I've seen from a product readily available on store shelves.

Having said all that, lots more information about this stuff in the detailing forum.

I have been using Mother's California Gold on my cars since the mid 90's, I have used both the paste wax and the liquid, IMO both work just as well, I see they now have a new line of products called "Reflections" and they make a matte finish tire dressing, want to try that for sure!
