antenna question

I'm trying to install an fm modulator in the antenna line to the bose system - anyone know the easiest way to get to where the antenna plugs into the radio? the modulator plugs in where the antenna was and the antenna then plugs into the modulator. I had the right side of the dash (glovebox etc) off and didn't see the antenna wire...

Re: antenna question

Hate to tell ya.....but you are going to have to take apart the console/dash and remove the radio/heat/ac housing. Then you will probably need 2 nissan anrtenna adapters to hook the FM modulator to the stock antenna. When I had mine installed this is what they told me. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Re: antenna question

thanks, I was afraid it would come to that but thought I'd ask anyway. I thought the nav wires were going to be the hardest part of the AVelectronic tuner install but it turns out the fm modulater splice is the real labor part!
