I stand corrected. I just called their help desk for clarification

Strange. When I financed through the dealer nearly 2 years ago, for an early 2004, my financing ended up being through Chase.

The main disadvantage of this is that, until I found the spot on their web site to stop solicitations, I was getting 3 credit card offers every 2 weeks, like clockwork.

On the other hand, I have more "FREE" return address stickers than I'll ever use.

I wound up with Chase on my '04 too, and yes, you do get a lot of credit card offers from them, have a link to stop those?

I'm not sure how to get to it, but I had taken one of their credit cards hoping it would shut them up. Didn't.

Anyway, went to their account signup, and saw an option with searching to cut down on the offers.

There SHOULD be a way you can look at your acccount info online, since once I got my credit card from them, I could also check on the car loan.

But, if nothing else, go to chase.com, go to the Privacy and Security tab, and maybe call the toll free number.

Or see if the car loan number is enough, with some other identifying info, to check your account online and change your settings that way.

Now, I have had a chase credit card for over a year, with I think over 10000 in credit, that I've never used and don't carry.
