if you bank of with bank of america, you can pay online thru their free online bill pay. so easy, so convenient. I'm sure other major banks offer free bill pay online.

Like other said, I have BofA too and it is free and easy.

Each month I receive a statement. The statement has the remaining balance and other info.

It's only been a few months of payment to IFS thru BofA and there are no problems!

To second others, automatic withdrawal is nice, requires no action on your part, they send you a confirmation monthly and you can never be late.

One note here: BoA still mails checks.

Don't expect this to be an immediate transaction. That's why you'll find a "transaction time" measured in hours, not days.

BoA mails checks only to businesses to which they cannot do electronic transfers. I don't know if IFS is one of those. Even the electronic transfer requires you to set it up with a couple of days lead time, I think, to make sure it gets there on time. Regardless they will take the money out of your account the day they begin the process. With BoA or IFS you can set it up to be done automatically every month.

They told me it is electronic transfer, not a check.

I have IFS for my sedan. It was a purchase, not a lease. I pay over the amount every month. As a result, my payment next month is lower than the previous month. Has anyone else noticed this? This is the first car loan that I have had that has this.
I kind of like it, though! I pay the same amount every month, even though it's only asking for less. It's nice to know that if I am really tight one month, I can put less towards the car and not screw my credit.
