Question Correct Napa Oil Filter?

I purchased a used 2004 G35 a few months back and am ready for my first oil change. After a lot of searching through previous posts, it is still not clear to me... what is the recommended Napa Gold oil filter for a 2004 sedan?

* At Napa, their computer says part number 1365 (boy, this thing is tiny!!)

* Some posts list the part number as 1356 which is the same diameter, but a tad longer.

* Other posts recommend the larger 1334 model.

Can someone clear this up for me?

Don't know about NAPA, but get one that crosses to a K&N HP1006. The HP1008 is the proper filter, however the HP1006 is a tad larger (both in diameter and length) and has the same pressure specs, and fits like a charm. A little larger capacity, which is a good thing.

Yeah, the oil filter is very small. I use the Napa Gold 1365 oil filter all the time.

If the NAPA 1356 is the same as the Wix 51356 (and I'm 99% sure it is, since Wix makes the NAPA gold filter) then it's the Maxima size and will work fine on the G.

Bump for an ancient thread, HAHA!
