JMO, but I agree with G35Lin, painting looks much better.

I've seen some overlays that don't look all that great,
major orange peel effect.

Also, don't know if cutouts would work for the sedan.
The coupe trim comes flush with the outside, the sedan is set back.

Painting is too much of a pain in the ****, unless someone can do it for me and get it turned around in one day. I also fret about having to put the lights in the oven and then glueing them back after painting. Then I have no idea what kind of paint to use, prep work and the list goes on and on! I would pay to have it done but I haven't heard of anyone that provides that kind of service.

I think if the cut-ours are made just a little bigger and slightly tear dropped they will work with the sedan headlights...

Thanks for the interest guys. One thing to remember though, you notice on the coupe, the cutouts follow the cutouts within the headlamp assembly. There's nothing like that on the Sedan. Therefore, when you look at it from certain angles it will appear not to line up. Do I make sense?

Interested

The part about not lining up has me concerned too. Will you show pics of how they look on the Sedan?

That's just it. Is it really worth trying a GTR Overlay for the Sedan Headlights? I've done something like this on other cars, but chose not to further develop them because I felt it didn't look right.

Well I'm down either way. I would most definitely purchase a set regardless. If I don't like them I'll take them off. I spend more than 40 bucks on a Friday night at the bar so who cares right???

In any case, I think A LOT of sedan owners want some type of overlay option aside from various shades of full smoke. Personally the reason I am interested in the hgtr3 is that it does not obstruct the headlight beams. Who else is with me on this one. We let this die right now and it may be dead forever.
