Another new tranny

Add me to the list of 6MT tranny failures. Dropped off my car for the 5th and 6th gear grinding and they called and said they had already ordered a new one and were going to replace it.

should have seen the service manager's face when he asked "what was your purchase date and current mileage?'

5/3/03, 10,5xx miles!!!! Bwahahahaha

Re: Another new tranny

Fixed, happy and just glad to have my car back.

The service advisor said the clutch was "adjusted" some and seems to grip better now? I don't understand that, the pedal is the same, and I don't think there are any internal adjustments you can make if the shift fork and throwout bearing are in good shape. But if any of you notice poor clutch performance, maybe there is an adjustment to make.
