Am I getting a good deal?

Here's where I am right now: Prices below are MSRP/Invoice for what I am looking at:

G35x - $32,800/$30,167
Premium C - $3,500/$3,016
Splash Guards - $110/$101
Dest - $610/$610

Total - $37,020/$33,894

Negotiated Price - $34,500

Thanks for your help in putting in this awesome beast!

Thats only $600 over invoice, you have to let the dealer make something on the deal.

Dunno - is the $1K dealer incentive still in place? I got mine for $1000 under invoice. Went thru Costco.com - put me in touch with fleet sales of my local dealer. I mentioned the incentive and got it!

Sorry - just checked about the incentive. It expired 8/1. With the new 06 models nearly here, I bet that some sort of incentive will come around. If you have acostco in your neck of the woods, give them a try. Go to http://www.costcoauto.com/carresearc...e=w2005k61m1t4

not bad, but i think u might be able to get that at invoice or lower. I got mine about $1k under dealer invoice. dealer has factory hold outs, incentives, not to mention the money they make if you finance through them, so it doesn't have to be above invoice. Shop around and maybe even try carsdirect.com. I used their price to negotiate with the dealer and got an even better deal.

Cool thing I found about carsdirect was knowing that I had a price waiting for me. If the dealer couldn't beat it, I had no reason to do the deal. Also, it can't hurt to email a few dealers. Don't rush and don't be afraid to tell them you have a better deal at another dealership.

That's a fair deal IMO. Are you getting any kind of service (oil changes) with that? If so, that can add value to the deal. You can always try to do better by getting competing bids from other dealers or just playing hardball. Like the others said, find out if there are still incentives by looking online or asking the dealer.

The $1000 dealer incentive is still good until the end of the month. I checked at Edmunds and called a dealer yesterday.

sd diver and davidology, please PM me the dealers and contacts for the pricing that you have received.

Where on Edmunds? Nothing that I can find?

Remember, we're talking about a G35X...
