Yeah, kudos to Mackin for setting you up with offset A front wheels that will clear a BBK. I very well may go with the same setup, sorry, well at least I live in Texas. I don't think you will be able to put a BBK on the rear though, those are offset C, which typically won't clear a BBK.

Anyway, interesting information, thanks....

Quote: TRUNK SPOILER WAS VERY EASY TO PUT ON. ITS JUST DOUBLE SIDED TAPE AND TOOK ONLY 15 MINUTES TO PUT ON. ITS NOT A VERY BIG, OR HEAVY SPOILER AT ALL SO IT HOLDS VERY WELL. ITS MADE OUT OF URATHANE I BELIEVE...WHAT EVER IT IS, ITS VERY FLEXIBLE.
Dude, chill with the CAPS!

I know I'm a rookie...but here's what I'm dealing with: Just got '05 19" coupe rims put on my sedan and they're rubbing with me driving solo (let alone having two people in the back)! What are my options other than rolling the fenders? Anyone got some advice?

Awesome looking ride, though! Love those rms.

You could cut the fender in lieu of rolling it. Or you may be able to have a machine shop or wheel shop shave a few millimeters off the wheel to push it in a bit. How bad are you rubbing?

Not too bad. They just rub when going over semi-serious bumps in the road/freeway. Don't look forward to this experience while having clients in the car. I figured with the oem's I should be o.k. Guess I figured wrong.

its rubbing because the coupe has a different offset than sedan, but you i'm sure you know that. how low is your ride?

Lowering may actually help because of the negative camber it adds (say Z springs or similar). What is the width/offset/tire size of the coupe wheels? I can do some quick calculations and give you a rough idea. My guess is you are not lowered at all.

I would guess the wheels are 19x8 with maybe a 30 offset? According to the website, 225/40's and 245/40's for the tires. If this is right you would need to loose maybe 2mm of offset, or add around a degree of negative camber (which really can't adjust without mods). Regardless, it should be very close. I am running a +35 with 245/45's on a 8" wheel and it is CLOSE, if my offset was down to say +32 to +33, I would rub on the factory suspension.

There are obvious sacrafices with any choice. Rolling fenders, more tire wear, rougher ride, etc. Ah, the price we pay....

Quote: I've had my wheels sitting in my garage for 4 weeks waiting for my tires to come in. Finally, no more torture! My G now has some proper wheels to roll on =). Volk GT7's with new Toyo T1R's. Size 19x8.5 - 255/35/19 in front & 19x9.5 - 285/30/19 in the rear. Lemme know what you guys think!

Very nice and the color match really closes the deal.
