Low pressure warning light

When I picked up my car aobut 1200 miles ago, the pressure warning light was on, I figured one of the tires were low and I would air it up when I got home, no big deal.
All the pressures were identical at 38psi, So I figure one of the valve stem transmitter thinggies must be malfunctioning. I know I can take it back to the dealer, but I really dont want to have to waste a whole 2 days dropping off and picking up the car, they are 60 miles away.
Has anyone had this problem, is there any quick fix, like tapping with hammer? Thanks

I had the same problem from day one so I just took it to the dealer and they fixed it.

Has not happened again yet.

Yeah, tap it with a hammer, yeah, that's the ticket....

Uh, no. I would take it to the dealer because they are expensive little buggers.

Besides, it'll give you an excuse to spend some time behind the wheel...

:-)
