Considering selling - '04 6MT

I've been thinking of downsizing the budget lately. Not that I mind having the G. It's been a great car for me. However, there are more things to life than a nice car. Ultimately the wife wants to stay home when kids come, and it's not in the cards unless sacrifices are made. I've been thinking of getting a Mazda 3 hatch since I have access to S-Plan pricing. I'm VERY right side up on my loan with IFS, and could essentially get the 3, cut a year off my payments, and cut my payments by $80 a month to boot. Gas savings and insurance would go down as well.

That being said, outside of the classifieds here, what have you found that's a good site for selling your rides? I sold my Contour SVT through contour.org and it couldn't have been easier. But I also ran into the usual host of Nigerian scammers going that route. Does anyone recommend Autotrader, Cars.com, Yahoo, or any other sites? I go back and forth on this daily.

TIA,

Jim

Congrats to you and your wife on starting a family. My hand is up to you for affording your children a "stay at home mom." Based on what you have said, you are going to be a great Dad.

Bravo! The best of luck to you and yours.

I sold a 65 Vette and 05 Dodge Magnum RT in the last month and got good money for both..

I have a friend with a 04 Mazda 3 hatch which I got to drive this past weekend. It only has 3k of miles. It is actually a really nice car. Well put together to what I can tell and drive very nice. Very responsive handling (better than the G) IMHO. The car definitely had no ***** (it had hte bigger engine), but still no *****. But for a economy car, it would be one I would get.
