Miss my G

I have had my G for a few weeks and I am approaching the end of the break-in period. Nevertheless, I finally got in at the dealership to get the chipgaurd on the paint and they gave me an 04 loaner. Man, I miss my '05. Don't get me wrong, I think the '04 is a great car and I decided on the G after test driving an '04. Also, the '04 loaner does not have the sports package while my car does. That alone could be the difference. I just feel a little more loose in the 04, and the engine seems louder. The acceleration doesn't feel as responsive either. On the Plus side the brakes are much better. I had to totally adjust my habits as I drove because the brakes gripped so much better. This is all just based on the drive to work from the dealership, but I thought the comparison was interesting. It could be all my own perception due to the temporary lack of my baby too.

I am just the opposite, I have an 05 loaner with sport and AT and I sorely miss my 03.5 6MT. Brakes don't work as well and the power seems lacking big time. The fastest loaner I ever had was an 04 AT. who ever drove that car before me must have driven the hell out of it as it shifted very high in the rev range.

Ohh...hm, maybe its just a comfort thing

Strange....the loaner was an 04 and had 20K miles...so it too must have had the hell driven out of it. hmmm It was probably the sport suspension difference then.
