Stoptech's on 2005 6mt with OE wheels

Do either the 13" or 14" front kits fit the OE 18" 6mt wheels? I already know that niether will fit my winter setup. I would rather not take the wheel off to check. Please help.

I dont see why the 13" wouldnt fit your stock's seeing as the stock rotors are already 12.5". You could prolly even get away with the 14" rotors. try it out, see what happens

Go there, find your car, your brake kit, print the template, test the template on your wheels. You will know what fits and what doesn't.

I did print out and cut the paper drawing. That is how I tested the winter wheels. I was hoping someone has tested the OE 18" already. I am being lazy and want others to do my work. Thanks though.

That's cool. But to save the rest of us lazy b@stards, be sure to post the results.

Will do.

I want the 14" kit. With luck, which I have had very little lately, they will fit within the OE wheels. If not, damn it all to hell!

Both of the 13" and 14" rotors will clear the 18-inch wheel. However, the problem is the caliper. I don't believe the oem SEDAN wheels have enough offset to clear them.

I'm not sure if you want the BBK for looks or performance, but I have the Stoptech factory sized slotted rotor kit on all four corners with SS lines and hawk pads and am very happy.

That wouldn't work for the '05s ... not yet at least. All '05 models have redesigned rotors that are not the same size (vs. the 03/04 Brembos and non-Brembos).

Maybe Stoptech will release the '05 rotors in the future.
