Question sedan exhaust mod

I'm new to this so bare with me...

I was wondering if anyone ever has put the coupe exhaust on a sedan? I just love that sound!

If you love the sound, get rid of the mid-pipe on the sedan and put a coupe one. You will get the sound you want on the Sedan.

Does coupe mid-pipe really equal to 100% of the coupe exhaust? There's gotta be more than that.

Not that I don't trust your stats but just wondering how you get that? You know and heard someone that has one? I read quite a few posts here with people having coupe mid-pipe but don't recall anyone saying it's close to the coupe's sound.

Would a coupe midpipe void the exhaust system warranty?

I'd say 50% and I have the coupe mid-pipe. However I think the distinct coupe sound can be better heard on the Automatic 05, which already has a nice exhaust note (been driving an 05 loaner for a few days)

Wouldn't it sound better on the 05 m/t? I really like my exhaust note. When the car starts it doesn't sound as good. But especially if you drive it for like 30 mins in the highway with ac on and then get back to the local street, you can hear a big difference. I am not sure why...maybe because the engine already had a good work out?

I personally think that a sedan (pre-'05 at least) sounds better with a coupe midpipe than a coupe itself! I've always thought that the coupe sounded a little wimpy because of the high-pitch sound of the exhaust. A sedan with a coupe midpipe has a deeper, smoother tone with a nice burble when you lift off the throttle.

Does the 05 coupe mid pipe bolt right up to the 05 sedan A/T?

Thanks for all the info!

it was more of just an estimated stat cause ive heard it before on a friends car and if u search theres someone who posted sound clips. which sound very close in my opinion to the coupe not the same obviously because of different mufflers and all but pretty nice.
