Mud Guard install easy?
Mud Guard install easy?
I have 05 6MT.
Want mud guard; think looks cool.
Buy from dealer for abou $130 but then I need to install.
Problem: Guard need to be screwed onto under body, around wheel, but space is very tight, may be 3-4 inches.
Any ideas?
Dealer wants like $75 for install.

i bought the complete set on ebay for $100 shipped. the installation is VERY easy. all you need is a phillips screw driver and a drill with a 3/8 bit. i was finished in 20 mins.
If you are talking about factory "Splash Guards" for the 05 Sedan, then I would recommend getting them from www.everythingg35.com. They are about $40 each set (front & rear) so about $80. I purchased them a few weeks ago and installed last weekend. Wow. I love them more than I thought I would.
Install is easy. Took about 10 min for the first one (cause I wanted to be extra careful), then about 5 min for the others. You need to jack up the G to install the set screw, but only need to remove the wheels for the rear guards.
Don't pay the dealer $75 to install... Do it yourself and make sure it's done right!
PM me for more info.
