I'm seriously getting pissed off and starting to develop a coupe envy. I understand that the Coupe has a larger audience of owners who are into modding.

But it's just a roof spoiler, it shouldn't be that hard to make. I swear these guys that manufacture parts for the sedan only know how to make the ugly @ss greddy front bumper, and other rice crap.

IT'S JUST A ROOF SPOILER!! COME ON MAKE ONE ALREADY!

you know, the thing is, all these spoilers look pretty much the same, with little differences in contours and shape and size... i don't know what it takes to manufacture these roof spoilers, but my guess is that a new cast form has to be made... i also guess that the form is hand-laid fiberglass. so, a company needs to come up with a hand-made prototype out of food or whatnot, and then make a fiberglass form. from the numbers i've seen on this board, the more people buy this, the cheaper it'll be in the end. so, let's have a start an "i want this thing" list.

It's just a little bit of mold work, I promise you it could be done in a day..It's not a hard thing to do.

well..since u are really pissed off..make one urself..see how hard it really is..

the problem is, the market is not there..so big companies don't waste their time on it..

tats y..u have to create an individual one and see if people will go in that..o yea and the price and style of spoiler u want as well..

I think the roof spoiler on the coupe is crappy as hell..

from a distance you cannot see it..if u cannot see it..there is no point to put it on..

now hamman makes a really nice roof spoiler..

Honestly,

I was considering making one myself, but I have no experience whatsoever with fiberglass and what not. These companies that do could easily make one. It's all good, it's quite silly I get pissed off over this. I'm not losing money, these companies are.

Same problem with mesh grill... there are plenty for a coupe - sedan minimal at best... I finally got billet upper and lower but I really didn;t want horizntal bars. No luv for sedans. Period. The spoiler will be much of the same.

My bet is that a certain make/model car already has an aftermarket roof spoiler that will fit out G's.

We just need to figure out which one...

I will take the measurements of the width of the glass where the roof spoiler should go- I will then do some research to see if any existing units will fit.

I'll keep you guys posted.

the civic SI have prety much same trunk dimensions, i have actually seen a G sedan wing on a SI coupe, not bad . if you measure the width of the rear window i am sure some euro car out their will have a roof spoiler for us. maybe audi or C class will fit....
