Set me back $600, which delays my springs for a lil bit.
Yeah, those brakes are costly. Though, it's good to hear that you haven't had any other major repairs. That's the reliability I'm starting to get used to from Nissan. I used to have an Altima and when I got rid of that at about 100K miles, I thought about it and was surprised to think that it never had any major repairs done either. I was impressed with Nissan's reliability. I hope to get the same or better with my G. I plan on keeping it for the long haul as well.

It's good to hear that the engine lasts a long time. My previous car was a 2000 G20 and I put 130,000 in 5 years. I sold it to my co-worker whos wife is still driving it. I had no problems at all with the car and engine, gotta love the SR20DE!!

My 05 G35 I bought the end of April this year and I currently have about 11K on it. =)

I sold my Altima with 70K miles. Other than replacing the rear calipers/rotors (calipers frozen), I had no mechanical problems with it. I'm expecting the G to go forever, but then again I've only put 8K miles on it in the last year.

Yeah...i dont think i should be bragging about how much mileage i have in my car. It sucks to think about it, i feel sorry for puttin it thru so much work in 2 years. Thinkin about buyin a beater to drive to work so the G can sit in the garage and let all of ya'll catch up on the mileage. haha. One more note that will make u guys feel confident about the engine...my 70k miles aren't just regular driving miles. I'm 25, so I dont drive like an old lady. I put the 265 horses to work all the time when i get on the highway, and there has been no problems with it. At least so far.

Guys - its a VQ, with a rep of being rock solid for WAY past 100K. But just like any other Nissan, we'll see how the body, parts, electronics, brakes, clutch, and everything else hold up

I was/am on track to do 35k+ per year (San Diego to Irvine daily).

In my previous job, I was doing about 6k per year.

There is an enormous difference in the toll this kind of mileage puts on your car (monthly oil changes/3rd windshield replaced), and even your body for that matter.

Definitely looking foroward to my next job, which is about 2 miles from my house.

Needless to say, if you have to commute long distances, make sure you match the tires to your drive. I just changed to Turanza LS-Vs and they make the drive so much more tolerable.

Well it's good to hear there are other members that drive as far as I do..and some further. I do use my car for work sometimes too (going to meetings, site visits, etc.). I've had my car since Sept. '04 and I'm at exactly 35K today.....looks like around 25K miles per year.

Typhoon - GOOD FOR YOU!

Wow...you guys drive alot. I've had my car for almost 1 year and 2 months, only about 8,800 miles.

The way you guys are driving, your warranty will be over in a couple of years.

Our bumper to bumper warranty is 4 yr 60k miles, and powertrain is 6 yr, 70k miles.

Do you know when the "loaner cars" are good for? The 4 yr or the 6yr?

I believe loaners are good for any warranty work you have done @ the dealership as well as regular scheduled maintenance...but I may be mistaken.
