Yes. Some chewed up bubble gum applied to the rims would be better than the Horrenzas! I still can't believe Infiniti puts those POC's on such a nice "sport sedan". They're pretty much the least sporty tires in history!

Sersiously, the GoodYear RSA's are not great, but they definitely grip better than ER33's.

At least you have the ER33's.....
my EL42's are probably 100x's worst then yours. Any wet spot on the ground will activate the VDC!!! They screech when you turn on corners.

The 05 have Goodyear NCT 5. They seem to be a euro model and they are made in japan.

"Horrenza's" that's great. I had trouble with those too, super bad tread wear, can't wait to get rid of them.

Yeah, it's a crime that I'm spending $800 on new tires for my 2 month old car. I just couldn't take them anymore. Seriously, the Turanzas take all the fun out of "spirited driving". ARRGGHH!!!!!!

Anyone want some Turanzas with 3900 miles on them?

Your 2004 G35s 6MT Came with Turenzas? I though all 04 Sport package (6MT) G35s came with either the Goodyear Summer tires, or the All season RSA's.? Just curious.

The Goodyears work really well IMO. I have not raced around like a maniac with them but find that they are pretty hard to break loose and work well in heavy rain.

You have to remember the purpose of the tires and the target audience. A lot of people that buy this car don't buy it for it's performance, they're buying an entry-level luxury sedan. They would have bought an I35, but this is what Infiniti has now, and it looks nicer, anyway. The Turanza is a touring tire. It provides a quieter, more comfortable ride than the Goodyears on the highway. It's not a high-performance tire. As far as performance goes, the only thing good about it is that it's very forgiving and progressive at the limit.. squeels like a pig and breaks free slowly, albeit way early.

I chewed up my EL42's in 12k miles. Then a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's in another 12k miles -- amazing performance tire, great wet grip.

The RSA were on the 04s and the Turanza on the 05. They went from bad to worse....

Nah, I had Turanzas on my 04 6MT too. They really suck(ed) donkey ****.

Wait, I take that back. There's more traction in the act of sucking donkey **** than the turanza's could ever provide.
