Remote trick

Hold down the unlock button for 3 seconds. It rolls down all the windows. :-)

Re: Remote trick

Even the back ones? Mine just does the two fronts.

Re: Remote trick

Yeah mine does all 4. This is actually a trick from older Maximas. Oddly enough, it doesn't work on my mom's 2001 Infiniti I30t.

I wonder if there's a way to get the windows back up? I tried some other button combos but it doesn't work. You used to be able to turn the lights on, open the sunroof, and some other random things.

Re: Remote trick

Infiniti didn't program in for the windows to come back up

Do a search for this topic, i think we talked about it in the coupe forum and someone knew all the details!

Happy Driving!

I wonder why mine only does the front two... can anyone shed some light on this?

Re: Remote trick

this is truly and odd feature! Why would anyone want to roll the windows down automatically. I've done it a few times to impress my friends. Yeah, I'm cool now...

Re: Remote trick

Depends on where you live. Every so often it's nice to do it while you're approaching the car to give it some fresh air before everyone sits down. Sitting down in an enclosed sauna is no fun for anyone... and why not do it then as opposed to pressing all of the buttons when you sit down in the car?
I used it when I was in a restaurant to crack the windows if it was getting hot... my TW-1 has an autostarter, so I just use that to crack the windows and get the A/C going about 30 seconds before i get to the car.

Re: Remote trick

Maybe this was designed for Car-jackers to prevent theft? I always wondered about this too and my thought was if someone was jacking your car, you can grab the keyfob, roll down the windows and pull the bastage out of the car!

Re: Remote trick

lol, I like that theory.
My alarm has a "hijack" feature which really cracks me up- I've got this emergency button located just below the steering wheel. If someone comes up to your car to carjack you at a stoplight, you press the button and get out of the car (Stats showed that you'll apparently get shot at if you try to drive away). The car will run for 20 seconds, then the doors lock, the engine shuts off, and the alarm starts blaring. Now, unless the carjacker disables the alarm using the right button sequence, he's stuck in the car (which won't unlock, won't start, and has a blaring alarm) in the middle of the road.
I looked like a real winner when I accidentally hit it.

Re: Remote trick

Does the G35 have a pinch protection feature? I don't want to go test it to find out LOL.
